The British Academy is a language school, situated in Prague 3, which prides itself on the personal and proffesional approach to teaching English, more importantly the quality of teachers and the lessons that they provide. At the British academy it’s about giving you exactly what you need to help you gain a fluid progression within the English language. We think your learning experience should not only be enjoyable, but also well structured and proffesional with only the best teachers.
OUR TEACHERS
The British Academy of Language employes mainly native English speakers. The selection process for our native speaking English teachers is a comprehensive round of interviews. Most of our teachers are experienced or senior teachers, holding a Trinity or equivalent TEFL certification or a higher teaching qualification and a minimum of 3 years experience in teaching the English language. Most of our native speaking English teachers are permanent or long term members within the Prague community. We do not hire teachers who take Prague as a transfer station to other destinations.
ENGLISH LESSONS
The British Academy of Language offers language courses in Prague which are available for all levels and ages including general English, Exam preperation (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, BEC Vantage and IELTS), English for Business, conversational lessons and classes for children from 6 years, these can all be for groups or individuals.
BUSINESS ENGLISH IN THE COMPANY
As a company specializing in the English language, we cooperate with many companies within Prague, which provide for their employees corporate learning programmes. Learning within the company offers not only general English, but a wide range of specialized language courses, such as sales and marketing, accounting and finance or even hotel management, all courses deepening managerial skills and introducing new vocabulary.
Lessons can be taught at your offices saving you time, or at one of our classrooms.
